the principles of uncertainty Oct 29, 2008


I was hoping to see Maira Kalman's keynote at the RGD DesignThinkers conference yesterday (where I was volunteering), but didn't get a chance. I did go to a few talks, which were great, but I was hoping to meet at least ONE design celebrity.

I had been planning to buy Maira's book for a while, and it seemed like the best time when she was doing book signings. So yay! (I'm selfish, I know, it's made out to me).

I also have a new job, which is great. I've been unemployed for almost two months now. Not that it was all bad, it's the first time I got to really relax in 2 years! It's at Chapters, and I've worked with the company before, so I know I'll enjoy it. Wish me luck!
