hard at (art)work

This week has just been full of problems, from large ones (like my laptop display breaking) to small ones (like Starbucks running out of Peppermint syrup). Ahhh! The lucky thing though, is that I have had the time to focus on making more and more art for the show coming up in June (Big on Bloor if you're in Toronto). I have finally printed my Oh Sweet Woods books, and they are looking lovely (so I believe).

I have put so much work into these—hand diecutting those trees, hand stamping titles and numbering, assembling everything by hand—so I hope they are worth the very affordable $10 I am charging for them... The very first 5 will be released as special editions (as soon as I am 100% finished), and two have already been claimed. The special editions will come in some sort of special packaging (box or bag), and will have the Oh Sweet Woods book, a few 1 inch buttons, a little package of "findings" from nature, and depending on time limitations, another surprise or two. They'll be priced around $25, so let me know if you'd like me to put one aside.

So stress stress stress! I hope my laptop starts working soon so I can get back to real blogging and catch up on my RSS feeds (1000+ for a long while now)...
