how it went...

Hello! I have been absent a little while only because of the real life crazyness that occurred last week! I had my very first show and (I think) it went pretty well... If you're in the area please stop by, it will be up until November 12th. I didn't take any pictures, so I borrowed a couple from Juli (who posted about the show here). My sister took some so I will surely have some more to show you later (or you can go see it for yourself!)

I had fears that all thirty-seven pieces wouldn't fit in the modest 300 square foot-ish gallery... but it didn't end up looking too cluttered!

I did some serious window painting all day before the show, it looked so neat with the light shining through!

I also just want to thank everyone for coming, I had a great time (despite my lack of sleep) and I really appreciated everyone being there! I've learned that a gallery opening is like a sort of self-absorbed little party that makes you feel quite loved, haha... I already have ideas for the next one!

I'm going to go this weekend -- I heard about the opening too late. But that's okay, I live about 2 blocks away.....

Aprile! I saw the show yesterday. It was lovely. I hope that you enjoyed every minute of the opening. Congrats!

Just found your blog through the decor8 blog, and what a great show! I wish I could be there to see all of the pieces. The window painting and the ribbons look awesome!

I caught the show on the weekend and it was really lovely to see so much of your work in person. I hope to make it out to an opening of a future show! Congratulations!
